Now I'm craving breakfast food...

I'm feeling uninspired today & really only have the creative energy to write bad poetry. Which of course I must share – because why do I have to endure bad poetry alone? That's right – you came here, you can suffer too. Or, you know, click the x in the upper right-hand corner right now. Don't say you weren't warned!

Random and scattered
isn't anything at all like
scattered & smothered.

No coalescence of
cheese and potatoes.
No high cholesterol
blue plate special.

Nothing special, at all.
But blue, perhaps.

  2. Bad poetry is in the eye of the beholder. I thought this was rather inspired. By breakfast, perhaps?

  3. Not bad Dana! I was just telling my husband this morning it is so healthy to step outside of the daily comfort level and try to do something different. I have never tried to write poetry and don't read it all that often but it inspires me when I see others doing something I haven't even tried yet.

  6. Now you have me craving hash browns with onions, peppers and cheese. lol

I'm stuffing my face with another craving right now -- we kept passing this bakery with the most luscious looking cakes in the window. Tonight we finally caved and bought slices to bring home.

Wonder if I could come up with a poem about that? :-) Nah, too busy just indulging. hahaha

By the way, I'm going to have to try your hubby's technique and see if I can get away with it. teehee My hubby is Mr. Spontaneous and I like planning, planning, planning. But gotta say, I'm enjoying this nothing-we-have-to-do, no agenda vacation :-)

2024 Project 365 – Week Twelve

I woke up not feeling well and skipped church (for the second week in a row - oops), but that doesn’t keep me from being deep in the throes ...
