2012 Project 365 – Week Forty-Six

Those of you who love critters will like this week’s pictures. And if you’d like to check it out, Dr. M has even more critters on this post.
Saturday, November 10th
I was still at our Diocesan Convention Saturday morning. I got room service for breakfast – such an indulgence! And very yummy.

My fellow delegates.

This is what the Passing of the Peace looks like at convention.

The State of the Bug: on my way home thinking deep thoughts about a request my Rector had made. I ended up saying yes & then found out that they didn’t need me in the role after all. Don’t you love it when that happens? I’m being serious – I’m glad I prayerfully considered & was prepared to do it, but since it was outside my comfort zone I was relieved they didn’t need me!

Sunday, November 11th
The weekly squirrel – perhaps about to be dive-bombed?

The feeders are seeing a lot of business!

Baked spaghetti for dinner – yum!

Monday, November 12th
Snowflakes on Dr. M’s way to school. I had pouring rain – he had snow.

Tuesday, November 13th – Dr. M’s Birthday!
He saw some critters staring at him (I really want to hug those very fuzzy cows!).

Go here to read about this picture :)

Wednesday, November 14th
Practicing our choir anthem on my way to work.

Dr. M took some nicely moody pictures.

Thursday, November 15th
Sheep! (Hey - one of those isn't a sheep!)

Friday, November 9th
Squirrel in a tree.

Dr. M saw this guy hanging out the window of the car in front of him.

The Tax Time Pig thanks our veterans.

It’s the moon!

Go to Sara’s blog here to see the blogs of all the other Project 365 participants. Have a great week!

Most of our photos are taken with a 12 megapixel Nikon D5000 DSLR, using a 55-200mm zoom lens. This is the camera that Dr. M takes with him most days. The Bug uses our new Nikon Coolpix S6200 most of the time. If you’re interested in which camera was used for a particular shot, just ask!

  1. some nice shots this week but if I passed you on the road and saw that sheet music spread out in front of you I'd likely be yelling at you to 'pay attention to your driving!' through my closed window of course.

  2. Me too Ellen! I actually blew my horn at someone who was texting while driving the other day. As I told my cousin’s daughter: do as I say, not as I do!

  3. I haven't had baked spaghetti in ages. Must try some again soon.

  4. Foooood! I want your foooooood! (it's the diet talking, don't mind me :)).

I do like the contemplative Bug and that you thought about it and agreed to do it even though it was outside your comfort zone. Maybe that was all you needed to do?

  5. I love that you not only had sheet music spread across your steering wheel, you were TAKING A PICTURE at the same time! LOL! Be careful out there!

  7. @Sara: That's the flash reflecting off the snowflakes...they weren't that big. It's a neat effect I discovered by accident :-)

  9. Yes, getting credit for willingness to do the job without actually having to do it is great!

Now put that music score down while you are driving!

  10. awesome pics, again! dang it, gurl...fabulous shots...love the hawk on the bare limbs especially

have to laff at myself...in that last sheep picture, i thought there were giraffes behind him, hahahaha...then I enlarged it...too funny!

God's got something really special for you to handle, so keep your ears open...and even if it is outside your comfort zone, he'll provide you with whatever you need to do it when obediently answering ;)

  12. Loved all the shots this week. I love baked spaghetti!

I didn't even notice the giraffe like whatever in the picture, I had to go back and look at it again to figure out what Skoots was talking about.

whatever that is is does look like a giraffe....

  15. Loved the sheep this week and Tax Time pig. I cannot believe you can drive and read music...makes me sick, sick, sick to read and move.

  16. i'm sure that the army uniform is supposed to be decisive - but there's something a bit ambiguous about a pig bearing a sign saying "thanks vets" - was he particularly pleased with his swine flu injections?

my favourite picture is the dog leaning out the window

  17. I used to read poems for my graduate class on the way to Purdue (2 hrs, perfectly straight road, many small towns) until Mike forbade it.

2024 Project 365 – Week Twelve

I woke up not feeling well and skipped church (for the second week in a row - oops), but that doesn’t keep me from being deep in the throes ...
