Another Wednesday With Words...

I'm starving! Wonder if there's somewhere around here to get a good meal?

Oh this is a likely spot!

I'll have some red...

and purple...

and orange...

and purple...

and purple...

Mmm - that was good!

  1. Oh, how wonderful! I love the pic of the hummingbird with his little head buried into the purple petunia. These are great. (That last one is a keeper, too!)

  3. Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! Our hummingbirds seem to prefer the flowers on the deck to the feeder. I love to see them practically buried in the blossom.

  6. Great pics. Too bad birds are color blind and can't enjoy the colors.

  7. Well, they do say to eat your "colours"!
These are fantastic shots. I wish I could attract hummers. Maybe next year when the perennials and butterfly bush really fill out.

  8. Dr. M is a fabulous photographer isn't he? It's like getting a birthday present every day when I check out the camera chip - ha!

I'm trying to figure out what purple thing I can eat for dinner - and since I don't like purple cabbage I think it might have to be black raspberry ice cream :)

  12. Fantastic! I can't believe you got all those shots.

This reminds me of an an ancient Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was still the host. He had a fancy camera for the times. Nothing like our digitals, but he shared photos he'd taken of a hummingbird that was in a tree outside his window. I remember he was so enthusiastic about it. He would have loved our cameras.

2024 Project 365 – Week Twelve

I woke up not feeling well and skipped church (for the second week in a row - oops), but that doesn’t keep me from being deep in the throes ...
