I have been so productive today! I’ve washed sheets & blankets,
cleaned the floors, half-assed cleaned the bathrooms INCLUDING DR. M’s TUB,
dusted (a smidge), got rid of some boxes, did some organizing. Whew!
Sunday, January 11th
I created this after church today to use as my profile pic on the socials. I just felt like I should state the obvious.

This is a photo of the chute at the bank drive-through – I go there every week to deposit the church’s offering & JUST NOTICED on Monday that it’s manufactured in the town we used to live in in Ohio.
Tuesday, January 13th
I was driving home wishing I could capture the gorgeous sky and then Dr. M did it for me!
Wednesday, January 14th
The only photo is this one of my outfit. I had a feeling my boss would tell me the jacket is too big for me (& she did) so I thought this might be the last time I wore it.
Thursday,
January 15th
I tried to get into good trouble during today’s mall walking, but as a little old white lady I’m not sure anyone actually looked at me.
Friday,
January 16th
The second beaver puzzle is complete!

I play this game entirely too much, but I’m extra motivated to play this weekend because the team I’m on (Greene) is ahead of the MAGA team. Go us!
We finally got my car out of the shop yesterday. We had them do the
work that they could do (new brakes, rotate tires, oil change) &
decided to just see how it does with the issue with the back ordered part. When
Dr. M drove it, he didn’t notice the scary noise, so maybe it’s just an every
now and then issue. We shall see!

It's good that you have your car back. It'll be even better if the work you had done somehow fixed up the noise. Now, at least you'll know what it 'isn't' if it pops up again. Speaking of popping up again, I love that beaver puzzle. Is it just me, or does it look like the puzzle creator put a van Gogh sky in the background? As for your jacket, it's very pretty. It doesn't look too big in the photo; if it's comfortable, I'd keep wearing it.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed on the car - so far so good! And there's definitely some Starry Night going on in this puzzle. It's one of the reasons I bought it - I love that painting.
DeleteLove your mall walking protest uniforms. Keep wearing them! Trust me--at least a few people notice, and that's important.
ReplyDeleteThat sky is gorgeous. We are inundated here with arctic temperatures and lots of sn*w with more to come. Today, however, at least the sunshine is out and the sky is a brilliant blue. It's not enough to warm us, but it's enough to remind us that it's still there!
We had actual flurries here today - but it was 42 degrees so it didn't accumulate at all. Which is as it should be!
DeleteYou have the best t-shirts and you wear them!
ReplyDeleteWe are all beloved by god because we are all an aspect of god.
Yes!
DeleteI love your mall-walking shirt and your artwork! I wonder if those bank chutes are still made in Fairfield? (I thought you lived in Xenia?)
ReplyDeleteOh, and where does your boss get off criticizing your wardrobe?! I say wear the jacket if you like it! :)
DeleteWe lived in Fairfield when we first moved to Ohio & then moved to Xenia when Mike got his university job. My boss is one of the honest voices in my life that I can trust. She only tells me when I ask. Ha!
DeleteI think the jacket is nice and doesn't appear to big for you. Tell Dr. M to keep photographing those beautiful sunsets.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I meant "too" big for you.
DeleteEven thought the jacket looked fine in the picture, it was billowing out behind me - ha!
