Fly Free You Little Letter - Fly Free!
I've asked the person who delivers our
interoffice mail to just slide it under the door since we keep it locked, so I
don't have to get up so she doesn't have to wait until I get up to answer the
door. She seems a little exuberant. Don't you think?

ReplyDeleteYes, quite the overachiever I'd say. ;)

Hmmmm...that would not have worked for me on my old job. Sometimes I would get "special" interoffice mail from colleagues (goodies like cookies or chocolate). There is no way you could slide that under the door.
ReplyDeleteIt's a letter after all, not a stone to be skipped across a pond.
ReplyDeleteHa! Funny. Looks like you have a nice, comfy office!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she just misses your smiling face!
ReplyDelete:) Funny!
ReplyDeletei think you should have a scoring system for her - make it a competition.
ReplyDeleteGive her some marks on the floor - and an olympic medal at the end of the week :)
I'm actually nearly serious here - my friend and I used to play Tea Tennis - if someone said yes to a cup of tea you got a point, if someone said no then your opponent got one.
The things we do at work to keep ourselves entertained
Why do you keep your office door locked? How odd.
ReplyDeleteProbably the mail lady is irked that she has to bend over with the heavy bag throwing her off-balance to slide stuff under your door. I would be.
OR...if she has heavy bag (remembered it was Interoffice), maybe she hates having to just bend over. Is it in view of other people?
ReplyDeleteYes, our door is right outside of HR & the person sitting at the front desk can see her, so you might be right Nance!
ReplyDeleteWe're locked because I work for the corporate attorney & we can't have random people wandering through the department. Our company is rather fanatical about security :)
DFTP - that is an EXCELLENT idea. B actually has a good sense of humor - she might get into the game.
You keep the door to you office inside Your offices locked?
ReplyDeleteOur company takes up three floors of our building. My boss & I are in one area by ourselves. We're not the only department with pass coded doors. I don't know what those departments do with their mail :)
ReplyDeleteFunny! She definitely made a serious slide with that one.
