2025 Project 365 – Week Thirty-one

I am mostly recovered from my cold, but VERY SLEEPY just now. I wonder how this post will turn out if I type with my eyes closed?

Sunday, July 27th

Stayed home from church to bake in the sun. It didn’t really work as far as making my cold go away, but it really felt good.

I also had a photo shoot for my latest square. This one was a BEAR. Took me about a month because every row required deep concentration & there was much frogging. Phew!

Monday, July 28th

I had been working on the next square but was not loving the green (I mean, look what it did to that burgundy color? eww!), so I frogged that. I’m much happier with the lighter color.

Tuesday, July 29th

I hadn’t been doing the dishes due to runny nose, but even so, six knives seems excessive.

Wednesday, July 30th

Dr. M says it’s Winged Wednesday!

Also, things that make you go hmmm…

Thursday, July 31st

I posted this in an HR group on Facebook - Grammarly fail. Made me laugh. I mean, I hope our benefits are practical, but that’s definitely not what I was trying to say.

Friday, August 1st

Stayed late at work to get my calendar updated! (No after photo.)

Saturday, August 2nd

Happy mail from Lori Hetteen! I need to figure out where to put my No Kings stickers!

I’m off work this coming week - woo hoo! We were going to go out of town, but weather and care for Dr. M’s dad are keeping us home. That’s ok - we’ll do some things around the house and spend some quality time together. What does your week look like?

  1. Enjoy your week off. I hope you get rid of that cold and get some lovely weather.

I get very crabby when Microsoft Word tries to tell me anything about grammar or usage (as if it could POSSIBLY EVER know more than *I* do about such things).

    1. Yes - I usually scoff at whatever it suggests (although sometimes it helps me be more business-like).

  2. I've never had my computer suggest a different word. It will just change a word into something it recognises if it doesn't understand my spelling. I generally just rinse my knives off after use and put them back in the drawer. Sometimes they actually get washed thought. I have no plans for this week. And that square is awesome, you are awesome that you can make that.

  3. Ugh! I hope your cold gets better! "Marogasm" is definitely a head-scratcher. We have Grammarly at work but I gotta admit I never use it.

    2. Yes - I'm coughing a lot now, but that's normal when I start getting better. Hopefully that will be gone soon too!

  4. When you posted last week, I couldn't comment because I couldn't find a link anywhere -- it had disappeared from the email. I thought it was a one-time glitch, but the same thing happened with this notification. I finally got here by going to one of your comments on my blog and finding the URL. Something has changed -- perhaps on Blogger's end?

    1. It was my fault! I send those emails out & have forgotten to include the link to my blog for the past two weeks. Oops!
