2025 Project 365 – Week Thirty-three

Apparently we spent this week just living our lives instead of taking photos, so you’re getting an assortment of images that weren’t necessarily intended for publishing (except Friday’s - I posted that one on the socials).

Sunday, August 10th

No photo, but it was a long church lady day - long service & then a council meeting. I still got to have lunch with Dad & Sue, so that was nice.

Monday, August 11th

My Be Real for the day - back at work after vacation. Boo hoo!

Tuesday, August 12th

I bought these yoga pants for loungewear & decided to wear them to work before I messed them up. Look at that extra high waist - it’s almost up to my boobs (full disclosure, when I sit down it acts as a sort of secondary bra).

Wednesday, August 13th

No photo.

Thursday, August 14th

I finished that hideous square that I had frogged. This is a little better - still not as pretty as I would like, but at least it doesn’t make me cringe.

Friday, August 15th

A Fast Fashion Tale of Woe. This was supposed to be linen. A friend asked if it was 100% badly printed on nylon and I said YES - it’s like wearing one of the flags we put on our door. Oof. (Also, if you embiggen it you'll see that it has these little white buttons instead of the hardware I was expecting for the straps. I'm going to be looking for some fun buttons to replace them with.)

Saturday, August 17th

Another BeReal - I’m sharing because I was impressed that I actually vacuumed the floor. Go me!

Our household is very close to being illness free! Dr. M still has a cough, but he hasn’t needed cough syrup in a couple of days. Will I now get to stop talking about our health? One can only hope  (although of course I’ll report the results of my upcoming CAT scan).

  1. I really like that jumpsuit. Never mind the fabric; the pattern and colors are wonderful. I like that area rug, too. It's very Mondian-like. I wonder if the manufacturers did that on purpose? It sure is good to hear that you and Dr. M are approaching full health. More of that, please!

    1. I agree about the rug. Sue was getting rid of it not long after we moved down here & I was like GIVE IT TO ME. Ha!

  2. I'm glad you're both feeling better. Why does it always take so long for a cold to leave?

    1. I don't know, but it's very rude. Sort of like DT!

  3. This is why I don't buy clothes online sight unseen or tried on. And I had that reinforced when I bought a pair of capri leggings to support Haris and the medium I ordered and that's what the size was on the tag was more like extra large and they would not accept a return. I donated them to SHARE.

    1. Yeah - this is the second time I've been burned. It doesn't help that I still haven't figured out what size I am.

  4. If those overalls were supposed to be linen and they're not I'd send them back! But I suppose they came from China or some other not-easily-returnable place? I've bought shirts made with that crap nylon fabric before. Disappointing!

    1. Exactly - slow boat from China & no responses to my emails to them. Lesson learned!

Thanks for stopping by - I'd love to hear what you have to say!

2025 Project 365 – Week Thirty-nine

At work we all agreed that this was The Longest Week Ever. We weren’t sure why, but we were sure glad for it to be over. On the other hand, ...
