Nothing to say this week. Well, lots to say, just not HERE.

You just think you’ve seen this outfit before – I’m wearing a different sweater with it!
Changed out my calendar for October. I laughed at myself – this square represents me and three friends (the ones who’ve been getting together every Christmas since college). I decided to use it for Mental Health Day. Ha!
Wednesday, October 1st
I posted this in my crochet group because I was second guessing this border & everyone agreed that it was too open for a blanket (it might catch toes & such). So I frogged it & did something different, which you shall see next week.
No photo.
We had a skeleton crew at work so I bought us some cookies. Not pictured: the chocolate chip that we scarfed right up.
No photo, but we basically watched post season baseball all day.
Sigh. The knife laid right in the chocolate frosting.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for the photo of the doxie wearing the dinosaur costume. Why can't there be a law that all dogs have to be dinos for Halloween?
I know - I watched the knife slide down there & thought, "oh well." And I hope I get a photo of the doxie!
DeleteThat frosting-to-cookie ratio is just wrong. I'd use that knife to scrape off some of the frosting. I'm the same with cakes -- unless it's cream cheese frosting on Italian cream cake or carrot cake. I never would have thought of toes catching in a bed covering, but I guess I'd never thought of using something like that for anything other than decoration.
ReplyDeleteNow I want onions.
You and I just have to agree to disagree about frosting. Ha!
DeleteI like that border. I don't think it would catch toes unless there were very long legs with very long toes hanging off the side of the bed.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying not to be annoyed.
Same same
DeleteWhat's annoying me is missing the invitation to your house for one of Dr. M's meals!
ReplyDeleteYa'll come!
DeleteI so admire your willingness to "frog" your needle work when it doesn't turn out as you'd hoped, and to move on to another plan. That's resilience!
ReplyDeleteI really want a picture of the wiener dog wearing the dinosaur cowl. :)
I've figured out that if it's something that I really want to treasure, it needs to be right. ish anyway - ha!
