2025 Project 365 – Week Forty-seven

Pretend that there are words here. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Sunday, November 16th
Fit check! This photo is actually from Monday, but since I wore this same outfit to church, I decided to put it here.

Monday, November 17th
Dr. M unlocked a new cast iron skill! This cornbread was so good!

Tuesday, November 18th
Dusk at home…

Wednesday, November 19th
Dr. M saw sheep!

Thursday, November 20th
I went to a women’s leadership conference with my coworkers. The convention center was recently renovated & I was obsessed with the fixtures in the bathroom. The one on the left was the hand dryer, the middle was water, and the right was soap.

Friday, November 21st
Dad & Sue had these probiotic gummies and I was intrigued because I’ve had a doctor recommend probiotics to me, but I was overwhelmed by all the choices. The good news is that these taste like those candy orange slices (Yum!). But the problem is that they taste like those candy orange slices.

Saturday, November 22nd
Dr. M & Ms. Pinky enjoyed a lovely day out on the deck.

When I went to look for pictures on Facebook I realized that I had not posted anything since the link to last week’s post last Sunday. I guess I’ve been a little quiet on the socials. How about you – have you been chatty or introverted on the socials this week? (Nance is exempted from this question – ha!)

  1. Oh, you know me so well.

I've been thinking about cornbread a lot these past several days! I put it in my Thanksgiving stuffing to add a little sweetness and extra heft, but I also want some all by itself--so nice when it's warm and buttery.

    1. Mike had been looking for a recipe that was similar to Jiffy (because we like it sweet) & this one was perfect. Although he did have to cut the sugar by about 2/3 - the original recipe was basically going to be cornbread cake.

  2. Nice outfit! That's a dress, right, not a skirt and sweater cause if it is that's a very weird sweater with that long panel hanging down.

I hardly ever post on the socials anymore, just a link to my blog on FB when I have a new post. Mostly I just read and sometimes comment.

    1. Yes - it's a dress. Or really more of a tunic since it's kind of short (on normal people)

  3. Is there something special about those probiotic gummies? I thought that generally yogurt and such provided all the probiotics that we need. It's amazing how many things are in gummies these days. Has your hair suddenly (or not so suddenly) grown quite long? Or have I just not noticed it before? Like the dress you were modeling!

As to the socials -- dead quiet on my end, since I don't subscribe to any of them. Well, that's not quite true. I follow a bunch of weather people on Twitter to keep up with floods, hurricanes, droughts, etc. ad nauseum.

    1. I think the probiotic gummies are for folks with extra gut issues - or like me who never eats yogurt.

I'm using a new hair product that makes my hair behave, so it's straighter. I think that's why it seems longer.

Thanks for stopping by - I'd love to hear what you have to say!

2025 Project 365 – Week Forty-eight

Here it is Sunday night after being off work for two days and I’m not exactly feeling the Sunday Scaries, but I’m also not entirely excited ...
