  1. Actually, that old furniture's not a bad metaphor for my life right now! I wonder where I could buy a new one? They're probably out of stock everywhere -- I'll have to just build one!

  5. Dr. M here...field expediency is one of my spiritual gifts, as my repairs to the old glider illustrate. The cushions are for our wooden swing under the white oak. But we needed headrests on our new chairs, so a few neatly tied knots later, we gad them. I amuse myself...
