Things are slowly getting back to normal. For example, I didn’t go
into the office today! I did think about it, but I resisted. Yay me!

As I wrote in my last post, I spent the morning at the hospital with dad, and then he got to go home! I went along to watch him get settled in, and then I went to the office. But just for an hour.

Blueberries! They are VERY tasty.
We love our neighbors. Ha!
It was cupcake o’clock. Delicious!

Bathroom selfie. I did something wild and crazy and wore a PINK top with this skirt instead of the usual orange.
No photo. But I left work on time! And went by Dad & Sue’s! And got to spend time with my nephew & his wife (the boys’ parents). And then I went home and had a lovely evening with Dr. M.
I took my day 9 hair out into the wild & represented my two current obsessions, justice and the Carolina Hurricanes. We decided to add a little more drama. This is what I thought my hair would look like when I stopped coloring it. Maybe someday?
I thought about you today when I picked up some blueberries at the store. I'd never seen the logo, so I looked more closely; they were from Somerfield Farms there in North Carolina! They were mighty tasty, too: some of the best blueberries I've had, and less expensive. It must be the season!
ReplyDeleteThe frosting on your cupcake almost matches the yellow of a rain lily I spotted last week. The yellow ones are rare, but so pretty. I don't like so much frosting on a cake, but that color is gorgeous.
