I’ve got nothing – let’s just dive into the week.
Sunday, February 11th
We had Souper Bowl Sunday! Dr. M did an amazing job as always. He wore his UC shirt in honor of Taylor’s boyfriend. I was in bed before the end of the game (it went into OT), but when Dr. M started getting excited I came out to watch the replay of the end.

More daffodils – we gets our joy where we can.
Those daffodils just knock me out. I wish we had them -- or forsythia, or crocus -- but we get some neat consolation prizes. I was a little disappointed by the result of the big game. I sort of hoped that San Francisco would win. But, I wasn't sufficiently invested to watch the thing, so there's that. I checked the score a couple of times, got surprised by the overtime, and thought about Travis Kelce as a boyfriend. That's a hard "nope." I think getting someone who'd make me cackle regularly would be much better!
ReplyDeleteYeah - Travis seems a little intense for me. So it's the IDEA of the romance, not the actual romance that seems so romantic. Ha!
Deleteas far as I can tell, I'm getting one...one...daffodil flower. I guess I need to fertilize them. or find a spot they like better.
ReplyDeleteWell I think you make up for it with all your other amazing growing things!
DeleteMan - they KNEW you needed a blessing - that is some DARK ash there LOL
ReplyDeleteI love you are getting so many fun designs for your glasses!!!!
I was pretty impressed with that cross of ashes - ha!
DeleteA gathering with some old (in both meanings of the word) friends on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds lovely!
DeleteMore glasses! You can never, ever have enough.
ReplyDeleteI'm babysitting Theo on Saturday--hooray! I cannot wait fast enough.
Oh YAY! I understand the no picture rule, so I'm just going to imagine your joy & contentment.
