10 on 10

I don't know why I continue to do this meme on days when I work, but here we go anyway :)

I usually put Canadian bacon on my breakfast sandwich, but I thought I'd try a "meatless breakfast patty" instead today. I sure hope Dr. M likes those breakfast patties!

After I got to work I saw that one of my puzzle pieces was missing :(

Lunch! I added a few tomatoes to my frozen Kashi dinner - yum! (The four golden ones are from our cherry tomato plant.)

My daily walk, during which I find flowers and litter.

On my way home...

Dinner! I was laughing at how I just tossed the Sunchips onto my baked beans - yes I ended up eating them with a fork.

I reviewed some of the graduation announcements we've received - beautiful people - athletes & a Eagle scout. I'm pretty proud of them!

Read some of my comics. As you might imagine, The Barn, with Rory the sheep, is a favorite around here.

Picked out what I'm wearing tomorrow (gotta do it the night before or I find myself just standing in front of my clothes, swaying, in the morning).

Turned on the Braves game - they scored 7 runs in the first inning. Can they win this game? It's possible...

I also drafted & mailed letters, ran reports, & emailed about a gazillion people at work. I did some online banking, mailed five cards to various people, & packed my lunch at home. And now I'm going to watch the rest of the game & read The Westing Game for book club. Just an ordinary day in the life. Sweet!

  1. Sounds like you had a busy day. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  2. How was the meatless breakfast patty? The Gardein meatless sausage and muffin is really yummy. We like it for supper, and I never even liked sausage to begin with.

  3. Whew! What a busy/productive day! :)

  4. Wow you were so productive today. I on the other hand was not.

  5. Yipee for meatless patties! :)
I love graduation announcement/invitations now - so much more fancy then when I was in school :)

  6. eek..meatless patties :/

we were watching baseball too...summer programing leaves a lot to be desired!

  7. I'm trying to catch up on reading and going through a huge pile of magazines. Yesterday it was the Cook's Illustrated grilling edition. It made me hungry! I also have several books waiting that I've already started. Life is so difficult for we retirees. :)

  8. Your breakfast sandwich looks good (is that an everything bagel?) - I'm usually happy with just egg and cheese, but I've tried some veggie sausage patty before and liked it. And homegrown tomatoes are just the best!

  9. Sunchips with baked beans sounds kind of yummy. The British serve everything with beans.

I seem to just use e-mail these days. I sent a graduation card to my nephew and it was the weirdest experience, having to go BUY a card and go to the actual post office!
