Throwback Thursday

Today would have been my mother's 72nd birthday. Thinking of her - great cook, ironing fool, midnight rambler, crazy, loving, wild woman. Love you mom!

  5. I hope you have that framed someplace in your home. It is absolutely wonderful. You really take after her, you know. Your sense of fun, your spirit, your flair for iconoclasm--you are a living tribute.

  7. It's hard to tell from this picture if you look a lot like your Mom, but the pose, the mannerism, the joie de vivre coming from this photo certainly remind of you.

I had to laugh at "ironing fool" ... my Mom ironed everything, dishrags, underwear, bras, diapers...
