    Do black walnuts contain a natural amphetamine like substance? I am just wondering because squirrels are totally buzzed in November and this critter is a perfect example! Maybe this critter 'is what he/she eats'..... NUTS!!! Thanks for sharing this crazy squirrel.

    You're OK Bug....I didn't read this until Wednesday morning. The little rodents are cute for sure, collecting all the nuts like they do. Shame they don't have a taste for fallen leaves. ;)

    I watched one of these little dudes go back and forth the other day. I couldn't figure out WHERE he was getting the pods! I went around the corner where he kept coming from and there were NO trees there. Hmmm.

    Great shots. I wish I had taken my camera on that ride. The iPhone camera would not have done him justice!

    Aha -- university squirrel? I wish I could say he looks well educated, but he actually looks ... BUSTED! So maybe squirrels are the equivalent of undergrads.
