Do black walnuts contain a natural amphetamine like substance? I am just wondering because squirrels are totally buzzed in November and this critter is a perfect example! Maybe this critter 'is what he/she eats'..... NUTS!!! Thanks for sharing this crazy squirrel.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty darn nutty :)
DeleteHah - he/she definitely has a slightly possessed (or possessive?) look!
ReplyDeleteAnd you did know it was Tuesday today, right? (Just making sure that you won't skip going to work on Friday)
Ya! Methinks the Bug got a bit confused....thanks for all the squirrel love, y'all
DeleteI THOUGHT I was setting it up to post this morning, but apparently I can't read calendars :)
DeleteThey're such industrious critters. And so darn cute.
ReplyDeleteYep :)

ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteGreat squirrel-sequence!
ReplyDeleteIt made me smile when I saw it :)
DeleteLove the photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteLoving Mr. Bushy Tail. Great shots. Did you make them or Dr. M?
ReplyDeleteDr. M took them - that there is a University Squirrel :)
DeleteI watched one of these little dudes go back and forth the other day. I couldn't figure out WHERE he was getting the pods! I went around the corner where he kept coming from and there were NO trees there. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I wish I had taken my camera on that ride. The iPhone camera would not have done him justice!
Aha -- university squirrel? I wish I could say he looks well educated, but he actually looks ... BUSTED! So maybe squirrels are the equivalent of undergrads.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that squirrel knows how much entertainment he provided us? Ha!
ReplyDeleteOh, sure. When HE walks around with food hanging out of his mouth it's cute. When I do it, not so much.
