March is marching into April –
does that seem crazy to you? What happened to March?
Sunday,
March 25th
Dr. M took some pictures of
flora & fauna around town.
He also took a picture of the
window over the altar at church.
Monday,
March 26th
I love this moon & planet
picture – the blue of the sky is just gorgeous.
Tuesday,
March 27th
My poor little netbook has been
unhappy since Thanksgiving. The keyboard started acting possessed. This week
the keyboard finally gave up the ghost (was it exorcised? Ha!) & Dr. M
found a really good deal on a real laptop for me. I’ve found that as I’ve
gotten older (ahem) the little screen of the netbook was getting harder for me
to read. So I’m glad to have this new one with a much bigger screen!
Wednesday,
March 28th
Love this row of pine trees.
Dandelion – so cheerful and fun.
Thursday,
March 29th
Couldn’t let a week go by without some bird action!
Here’s the moon again, just a bit bigger.
Friday,
March 30th
Tulips!!
The State of the Bug: TGIF!!
Saturday,
March 31st
Dr. M took more flora & fauna pics today. We were going
to go see what the fen looks like, but we deemed it too cold & damp. I
think our back yard was entertainment enough!
I finally had the bright idea to check out a Braves spring
training game. Oops!
Tonight is Earth Hour
– in the middle of March Madness, as usual. I’m going to compromise & turn
off the lights & my computer for the hour – although the basketball game
will still be on.
Go to Sara’s blog here to see the blogs of
all the other Project 365 participants. Have a great week!
Most of our photos are taken with a 12
megapixel Nikon D5000 DSLR, using a 55-200mm zoom lens. This is the camera that
Dr. M takes with him most days. He also takes pictures with our old reliable 7
megapixel Canon Powershot A710. The Bug uses our new Nikon Coolpix S6200 most of the
time. If you’re interested in which camera was used for a particular shot, just
ask!
OK, so I've pretty much become crap at P365 this year...:P.
ReplyDeleteBut I do love the stained glass picture and the pics of the moon. Very pretty
Love, love, love the moon pictures.
ReplyDeleteAnd the state of the Bug. I want those sunglasses!
You are much further into Spring than we are here in Portland. Envy. Envy!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how early things have greened up this year. Especially as far north as you are (compared to me) . Oh well, might as well enjoy it, and photograph it. :)
ReplyDeleteS
That is one determined squirrel.
ReplyDeleteThe moon shots are terrific.
As is the church window picture.
As is the very puffed up bird.
As is the TGIF Bug picture. I like you with your hair down.
Well, I mean, I like you anyway.
But . . but . . I mean . . uh . . er . .
Oh, hell, you know what I mean.
Don't you?
I love the church window. I never heard about "Earth Hour," so I'm sure we were sitting here with the TV on -- but at least the lights were off, because we were watching "Aliens"!!
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of Earth Hour either.
ReplyDeleteSuch great photos! I really have to see if we can't upgrade to a "real" camera next furlough :)
So happy for your new computer! I think it's interesting that gadgets keep getting smaller and smaller -- just as my eyes keep getting weaker and weaker. hehe I'm going to be one of those old people who need a phone the size of an iPad so I can see the number.
Have a great week!
Congrats on the new computer. I got one around Christmas and was so glad. Loved the little squirrels and the moon shots. State of Bug was so cute. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI love tulips, sadly they just don't do very well down here in the south, it just does not get cold enough in the winter. Most of the tulips you see down here are treated like annuals. They plant them and then pull them up and trow them away!
ReplyDeleteGreat week!
Enjoy that new laptop!!! I love mine!
R
It looks like your are multi-tasking with the laptop on top of the dryer. I was impressed. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Earth Hour either...interesting.
That duck in the middle with the Gangster Lean was really workin' it. So terribly jaunty.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are all so beautiful! We had a head start here, but now it's been so cold. I'm hoping the flowers make a comeback.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better.
lovely shots of the moon
ReplyDeleteState Of The Bug looks good this week
Nice new laptop!!!! :) With a big screen to boot!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the moon pics - awesome. And that window - GORGEOUS!!! Love it!
