2012 Project 365 – Week Fourteen

Easter morning is tomorrow – the end of Lent. Out of the three disciplines I tried I only consistently did one. Fortunately the one thing I did every day during Lent was say my rosary every night. Since the other two things were really just New Year’s Resolutions in disguise it’s no surprise that I didn’t keep them.
Sunday, April 1st
It’s the weekly squirrel!

Monday, April 2nd
It’s just gorgeous around here these days!

Little Red – our new lawn mower.

The moon is a mushroom! (It happens every month).

Tuesday, April 3rd
Goldfinch!

Still working on my scarf. Another skein or two & I’ll be done. Maybe – heh.

I took a friend to dinner. I asked Facebook whether they thought the broccoli canceled out the fried fish. The consensus was no.

 Wednesday, April 4th
Dr. M took pictures of some of the ground cover around here – personally I prefer this to a manicured lawn.

The State of the Bug – confused. Go here to see why.

Thursday, April 5th
A ridiculous number of pictures today – beginning with this one to start my day. Funky sky.

Dr. M took picture of flowers – sigh :)

The Tax Time Pig – I thought I’d show more of the house in this picture. Pretty in purple!

Bath time.

Maundy Thursday at church.

Friday, April 6th
Good Friday.

The moon!

Saturday, April 7th
We took a ramble on our way to doing some shopping today. My favorite ducks.

On our ramble we saw all kinds of flowering trees & flowers, but I only took this one picture at the Best Buy. Gorgeous day.

It’s the Easter Bunny!

Go to Sara’s blog here to see the blogs of all the other Project 365 participants. Have a great week!

Most of our photos are taken with a 12 megapixel Nikon D5000 DSLR, using a 55-200mm zoom lens. This is the camera that Dr. M takes with him most days. He also takes pictures with our old reliable 7 megapixel Canon Powershot A710.  The Bug uses our new Nikon Coolpix S6200 most of the time. If you’re interested in which camera was used for a particular shot, just ask!

  2. Your scarf is BEAUTIFUL!!! :)

Feet washing services always tug at my heart...

  3. I love the picture of the dogwoods! They don't really have them here in Florida, and it's one of the things I miss from when I lived in South Carolina.

And regarding the fried fish and broccoli question...don't believe ANYTHING on Facebook (well, except the stuff that's true). Broccoli so does cancel out fried fish. Fish cancels out fried, too, so there.

    Happy Easter!

  5. I can't remember what i called Tax Time Pig's best friend before but i'm going to go with Barry The Wonder Duck from now on - and add that i like the fact that both TTP and BTWD match the flowers - and not even mention that i thought i got a glimpse of a third character in the window of the door...that way lies madness!

  6. Glorious pictures all around, and so glad for the foot-washing picture. As the officiant at most such occasions I never felt it was seemly for me to bring my camera, but I'm sure glad you did!
I especially love the blooms. I'm a blooms kind of girl.
    Happy Day!

  15. Good job on the scarf! Keep going, though, and it will morph into an afghan :)

Did everyone participate in the foot washing? We grew up in a church with that tradition. They have trifold communion with foot washing, followed by a meal, and finish with the bread and cup. It's a very meaningful service and we miss it.

That's a very cool panoramic shot!

Must go read why you're confused. It's my perpetual state of being these days, for no particular reason other than I'm me and I'm going through menopause. *sigh*

I want to reach into the computer and grab some of those fish and chips! YUM!

    Have a great week!
