So I was complaining one day
about sweating while crunching through leaves & then two days later there
were SNOW sightings! Yikes! Too soon!!! Ah well, this will teach me to complain about the weather (pretty sure the lesson won’t stick though).
Sunday,
September 28th
My
daily walk – I went to the path by the river. It was terrifying! I almost got
beaned by a walnut. Nature keeps you on your toes, that’s for sure.
Monday,
September 29th
Dr. M took some pictures around the
house today.
My daily walk. A very pleasant
evening.
The moon!
Tuesday,
September 30th
My daily walk – I was excited to
see a ginormous dove in the sky :)
Wednesday,
October 1st
My daily walk. This week I
managed to walk before choir practice.
While I was taking a picture of those
twin planes, Dr. M was taking the same picture! With a MUCH better camera. Ha!
My terrible parking job at choir
practice. Sheesh.
Thursday,
October 2nd
This is the walk where I
complained about being hot. I take it back!
Friday,
October 3rd
My daily walk – breezy &
wet.
I saw this VERY decorated yard
on my walk. Made me laugh.
Saturday,
October 4th
Hope everyone has a great week!
you picked up the little blue man, right? and, oh yeah, it's never a good idea to invoke the gods.
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a giant dove in the sky. I can feel Fall in your colorful pictures.
ReplyDeletethat "dove" looks more like an angel to me!!!
ReplyDeleteThe VERY decorated yard put a smile on my face. Love the squirrely-looking STOP sign in the window reflection!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a crazy difference in weather!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting though, because our weather here has been interesting too. Beginning of the week it was 60's - low 70's and by the end of the week? 101! What's that all about? I thought this was fall!
Just so you know, I have messed with settings again and apparently made it difficult for me to post on blogspot again. Not sure if you have gotten previous comments, but please know I have been visiting! :0)
Look at you! Up there in that first bunch of pics, next to the walnut that might have been the one that bonked you, I think I see an osage orange. I love those things, for no good reason. My cousin in Kansas City keeps them around, and swears they keep bugs out of the house. Maybe, maybe not.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a beautiful weekend here, but none of the places I wanted to walk were bearable, because of the mosquitos. Gosh, they're terrible. It's going to take some of that cold weather you've got to send them on their way, or kill them. Whichever. I don't really care.
Have a great week!
Love the daily walk pics, especially the first. Your smiling upturned face is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove the ginormous dove and the reflected stop sign. :)
ReplyDeleteYour weather certainly has been changing. Loved the pictures.
