I had an old canister vacuum too but it was back in the late 70s. It was blue I think.

ReplyDeleteI never had a canister vac -- well, except for my wet/dry that I use for work. I did have one of those Electrolux gems. I don't remember buying it. It probably was passed down from someone. But it lived nigh unto forever. I was happy when it passed, because it was a behemoth.

ReplyDeleteHa - I have a map of the world in my dining area, too. And I love that picture of Dr. M in front of the dishwasher. I'm not sure my husband is aware that we HAVE a dishwasher. He just leaves dishes in the sink and then they magically disappear (...by me). But he has qualities that make up for this severe personality flaw. LOL.
