1,000!



This is my 1,000th post! Boy that just seems like a crazy number to me – who knew I had that much to say? Here are some interesting* tidbits:

·         My first post was in March 2009 & was about Lent.

·         My most viewed post is this one – 626 page views & only 6 comments. It makes me laugh because it was the last post after I had posted every day in November last year – I guess people were happy about the end of an interminable month. Ha!

·         The post with the most comments (36) was this one - & is one of my favorite poems that I’ve written.

And that’s enough of that.

So, what shall we do to celebrate? It’s a given that you should all be eating cake (or pie if you prefer), but shouldn’t there also be gifts? Yes, there should!

I’m going to give away one of my crocheted scarves (I have designs for women or men). Just leave a comment on this post by Sunday, October 6th. On Monday morning I’ll draw a name & post the winner. If you don’t want to be in the drawing feel free to say so in the comments!

    One thousand times? Wow!! That's really something. I've only posted over five hundred times and I'm currently using 2.1 GB out of 3.0 GB. I'm on wordpress. One thousand is a lot. I started posting in July of 2009, about the same time you did. Ha! I looked it up on my, blog and you and I have been visiting each other since Decenber 1, 2009 when you left a comment on a post called "How I Named My Blog" that was prompted by Ruth at "synch-ro-ni-zing". Do you remember that? :) Congratulations! I've enjoyed every minute of it. All the best. Happy posting!

    Congratulations. I haven't even looked at how many posts I have over at the Dept., but I know I passed 1k at The Report long ago. On to the next Grand for you!

    Congratulations on 1,000 posts - I'm only at 601, even though I've been on Blogger since August 2008. Now I'm tempted to go back to your first post and read up to when I started following you.

      I had several months where I posted EVERY day (ugh - for everyone involved!). I think it will take me a lot longer to get my next 1000.

      I've looked into a book, but it was going to be HUGE (all those P365 pictures - gah!). Maybe someday - when I have time to be selective & figure out what I want to do.
