April 3, 1943 to July 20, 2010
His wit, his compassion, his love for Linda and Lindsay, his way of taking an ordinary day and making it an adventure - these drew me in and made me want to stay awhile. I may never have met him in real life, but I will miss him tremendously.
Rest in peace Barry.
Rest in peace.
Let light perpetual shine upon Barry. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Sorry for your loss. Real life meetings aren't necessary to appreciate the gift that people are to us, or to the world.
ReplyDeleteAmen
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies - knew you'd understand!
ReplyDeleteIt's a strange but wonderful thing how we can develop such affection for someone we may never meet in real life. I think this has to be just about the best thing about the internet. I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't know Barry at all but he must have made an impression as this is the second post about him I've found today.
ReplyDeleteBarry would be touched by your reflections on knowing him. We are missing him so very much. Your condolences will be heard at Barry's memorial next Friday. Thank you for following and caring.
ReplyDeleteLove and peace. xoxo
