Clan Wallace
I have a warrior’s name,
if not his heart.
I am waging a war
of mediocrity
and middle class
abandon.
If I make one
more dollar
will I finally
reach the land
of Jones?
I am scaling
a hillock and
am persuaded
that William
would not want
to call me
daughter.
